Posey Supports Alternative Energy; PetroAlgae

Melbourne, FL - Senator Bill Posey continued to show his support for alternative energy by touring the facilities of PetroAlgae on Friday.  PetroAlgae is a company that is growing and harvesting algae to produce oil.  This remarkable process creates a sustainable, renewable, cost-effective substitute for petroleum oil and a reliable, environmentally-friendly feedstock source for Biodiesel and many other products.

Senator Posey continued, “Any energy plan adopted by Congress must include incentives for alternative energy companies such as PetroAlgae to become successful.  Government cannot afford to be a hindrance to these exciting new technologies that may help to eliminate our dependence on foreign oil.  We must do everything we can to help them succeed.”
