U.S. Rep. Bill Posey began his second term in Congress on Wednesday by pledging to make among his top priorities job creation, accountability and reducing the size of government.
“First and foremost, Americans expect their elected representatives to get to work, putting policies in place which will spur economic growth and create jobs,” Posey said in a statement.
The Rockledge Republican’s 15th Congressional District includes Central and South Brevard County, all of Indian River County, most of Osceola County and a small section of northern Polk County.
Posey was first elected to House of Representatives in 2008. He previously served in the Florida House and Senate.
