Posey to join Rubio at Indian River Tea Party rally

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Freshman U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio and U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, R-Rockledge, will speak at the Indian River Tea Party rally Friday at the fairgrounds.
Also at the event providing music will be former “American Idol” singer from the seventh season Krista Branch. She is expected to sing her new song, “I Am America.”
The free event is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Indian River County Fairgrounds, 7955 58th Ave., Vero Beach. However, gates open at 4 p.m. with free slides and bounce houses for children.
